Armed with more than 10 years of industry experience in Training & Organisational Development; I am the former Founder and Managing Director of Sterling Afrika Training & Consultancy: A business information company providing specialised and relevant industry-focused workshops to the African corporations. Currently Operations Director at Southern Africa Development Institute.
Prior to that, I worked as a sales executive at Intelligent Africa where I was promoted to a Team leader and eventually to In-House Consultant positions respectively. After a fruitful 5 years, I accepted a managerial offer in Business Development with Pan African Training where I was tasked with setting up the business development plan, sales processes, company structure and policies. Thereafter, implement and monitor. I have since consulted successfully for other training institutions.
I passionately believe that the Training Industry has a critical role to play in boosting the economic success of African Corporations and Civil Societies.
However, with experience, comes exposure. Exposure to our industry’s shortfalls in leadership, in lack of clear business models, performance structuring and employee vetting. Coupled with a volatile market and technological changes, I came to the realisation that the industry needs to reinvent for sustainability.
My main area of interest and expertise being strategic planning, performance management, communication and leadership development, and organisational culture and transformation; it is imperative that I share my acquired knowledge with my industry colleagues for the ultimate betterment of the training function.
I am a qualified Communications Expert, a PR Strategist and a Marketing Specialist with over 15 years of experience.
